Vadodara sweet shops inspected to ensure implementation of FSSAI rule

Vadodara Municipal Corporation (VMC) conducted a drive on October 05 to oversee the implementation of Food Safety and Standards Authority of India’s (FSSAI) rule to mandatorily mention ‘best before’ date of sweets. Speaking to ANI, Food Safety Officer, VH Nisarta said, “If the rule is not followed, we will get the product destroyed.”
