Directions regarding display of “Date of Manufacturing” and “Best Before Date” in case of Sweets -Reg.

With reference to Order of even No. dated 25.09.2020 on the above subject, it is clarified that the said Order is applicable for Indian Sweets only and the FBOs are permitted to display the mandatory “Best Before Date” and “Date of Manufacturing” (voluntary and non- binding) on the container/ tray holding sweets at the outlet for sale in the local language also.
