Further to FSAI Food Alert 2020.63, an additional batch of Sesame Seed Bagels has been withdrawn due to an elevated level of the pesticide ethylene oxide in the sesame seeds originating from India. This pesticide is not authorised for use in foods sold in the EU. The implicated batch was supplied to a number of restaurants.
