FOOD recalls are important to pay attention to as they can impact the health of any of us. Morrisons, Asda and Iceland have recalled products after serious health risks.
Company Worthenshaws has recalled Kirsty’s Classic Beef Lasagne, sold at Asda and Morrisons. This is because of inaccurate information on the label that could causes a serious health risk to those with allergies.
The product contains oats not listed on the label.

The FSA advised: “If you have bought the above products and have an allergy to oats (that are gluten free), do not eat them.
“Instead return it to the store from where it was bought for a full refund.”
Also being recalled are the Stockley’s Fruit Sherbets, sold at Iceland, also due to allergy misinformation.
The sweets contain milk not listed on the label.

“Instead return it to the store from where it was bought for a full refund.”
Lidl recalled chicken over deadly listeria, and now the recall has been extended.
The Food Standards Agency revealed an previous recall over listeria fears has been extended, affecting Lidl stores in Northern Ireland.
Chicken products from Faughan Foods are being recalled.
The step, described as precautionary, affects new batches and another product.
Now the Glensallagh Tikka Style Chicken Pieces are also being recalled due to Listeria monocytogenes.
Do not eat these products and return them to store.
